Admissions

Atlantic County Special Services is a tuition based school that accepts referrals for enrollment from school districts in Atlantic County and throughout South Jersey.  The tuition includes the special education program and related services.  A parent may not make a direct referral for their child to attend the school.  Interested parents should contact the Child Study Team in their local district about setting up a tour of the school.
 
School district personnel making a referral for admission should submit to the Child Study Team:
  • Written request for admission;
  • Current copy of the student's individualized education plan;
  • Copies of most recent evaluations; and
  • Copy of the student's immunization record.
Completed application packets can be mailed to:

Once a student application packet is received, it is reviewed by the child study team supervisor and assigned to the appropriate ACSSSD case manager.  The case manager will facilitate a tour (if applicable) and intake meeting with the home school district and parent/guardian.
